During the past ten years, the demand for cement in Botswana has increased from 18,000 tons/year to 70,000 tons/year. Forecasts for the period ending 1983 indicate an average annual consumption of 74,000 tons. Until now, all demands have been met by imported cement. (30 Pula/ton) in Francistown/ Selebi- Phikwe.
