Environmental Impact Assessment for the Detailed Design of a Dam on the Lotsane River at Maunatlala (TB 10/3/19/99-2000); Final Inception Report- By Geoflux (Pty) Ltd in association with WMB, 15 June 2001

The purpose of the study is to undertake a detailed EIA study of the proposed dam on the Lotsane River. The EIA should review and assess all project activities in and around the dam site and surrounding villages, possible impact on downstream sand river aquifers and traditional hand dug wells, address any compensation issues and articulate an environmental management plan for the reservoir catchment.
